Fundraising Dinner for District 5 Supervisor Candidate Andrea Macon - Sat Mar 10

Fiddletown Venue, Limited Seating

On Saturday, March 10, supporters are invited to join Andrea Macon and the District 5 community for a gala fundraising dinner and silent auction at a private lodge (the former Moose Lodge) in Fiddletown from 5:30-8:30 p.m.

Mark and Tracey Berkner of the Volcano Union Inn will cater the dinner. Amador County favorites, the Berkners are known nationally for their award-winning food. The ticket cost of $75 includes a glass of Amador’s own wine or beer. The evening also features a no-host wine/beer bar.

Guests will enjoy the mellow jazz of Herb Boxhorn and friends. Boxhorn, a popular vocalist and guitarist, combines his background of folk, blues, finger-picking, jazz and Latin into an eclectic mix truly his own. A Fiddletown local, he has performed regionally for over 30 years.

A silent auction will feature items from Amador County artists as well as other great offerings.

“Even the former Moose Lodge is getting a new paint job, getting dressed up for that night,” says Rebecca Brown, events coordinator. “The theme is Andrea’s campaign slogan: ‘Respect Our History and Build Our Future.’ So, along with delectable food, great music, and a top-rate silent auction, guests will be invited to write down their ideas of what they want to see in Amador’s future.”

Candidate Andrea Macon is thrilled about the upcoming dinner.

“I love historic Fiddletown, and it’s right in the heart of District 5.” Macon says, “This is a grassroots campaign, with something for everybody. We’re hosting a wide variety of events all over the district in the next few months: meet and greets, barbeques, coffee klatches… but this evening will be truly special. Our supporters get an amazing dinner in a beautiful setting with the best local wines and music. And I’m very excited about the auction.”

Seating is limited. Tickets are only available in advance, and may be purchased through Macon’s campaign website:
